We are currently searching for a Specialist Network & Network Security:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

  • Ensure the availability and high performance of network assets, promoting secure and flexible communication between internal and external applications.
  • Provide robust protection against unauthorized access or interruptions by third parties within the global network.
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics of all network assets to guarantee full operational compliance with company policy.
  • Manage, maintain, and diagnose the company's network assets, focusing on the efficient integration of global network operations.
  • Maintain and analyze the internal/external network, studying configurations, functionality, and interactions of systems and assets.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and users to identify optimization opportunities and ensure compliance with global network security policies.
  • Actively seek solutions to problems identified in network assets (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) and suggest continuous improvements.
  • Analyze incidents and failures, investigate root causes, and propose alternatives, working alongside technical teams, consultants, and global groups.
  • Use performance metrics to guide decision-making, avoid operational interruptions, and optimize the network efficiently.
  • Liaise with IT teams and lead projects such as equipment replacements, release implementations, and operating system upgrades.
  • Act as a point of contact between global and local IT teams, setting schedules and ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting as necessary to ensure implementations meet time, budget, and security requirements.
  • Provide technical support for all network equipment, responding to user calls, diagnosing issues, and guiding users on correct asset usage.
  • Support company teams in managing changes and developing technical skills related to network assets, ensuring alignment between change processes and user adaptation.
  • Configure, test, and deploy new features and improvements to network assets, validating that they meet operational and security requirements.
  • Participate in the Global On-Call Duty roster, providing support for critical network and network security incidents to ensure timely response and operational continuity

Your Profile (Requirements)

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of vocational experience in network operations and security.
  • Advanced knowledge of Network and Network Security technologies.
  • Experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network assets including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure network technologies.
  • Experience in project leadership, specifically regarding network equipment upgrades and implementations.
  • High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
  • Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

  • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
  • Customer focus: Understands that the network is a service and internal teams/users are customers.
  • Business insight: Understands how network decisions impact business operations, risk, and cost.
