Software Development Engineer (AI / React / JavaScript / Linux)

Job Summary
We’re a fast-moving startup building intelligent, real-world software products—and we’re looking for a Software
Development Engineer who loves turning ideas into shipped features. You’ll work hands-on across the full stack,
building AI-powered applications using React, JavaScript, SQLite, and Linux-based systems. This role is for builders:
engineers who take ownership, move quickly, and care deeply about creating products that actually get used. You’ll
have real influence over architecture, product direction, and technical decisions from day one.
Eligibility Requirement: Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, this position is open to U.S. citizens only.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and ship modern web applications using React and JavaScript
• Develop and integrate AI-powered features (LLMs, APIs, automation workflows)
• Create backend services and APIs supporting AI workloads
• Design and maintain application data using SQLite
• Deploy and manage applications on Linux-based environments
• Take ownership of features from concept to production
• Improve performance, security, and reliability across the stack
• Collaborate closely with product and design to rapidly iterate
• Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code
• Debug production issues and continuously improve systems
• Help shape engineering standards and architecture

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Experience working with AI frameworks or APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, etc.)
• Solid experience with SQLite or similar relational databases
• Strong understanding of Linux-based systems
• Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and modern deployment workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguous environments
• Ability to work independently and own deliverables
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Python for AI or backend development
• Knowledge of Node.js or similar backend frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience deploying AI models or LLM pipelines
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Security-conscious engineering mindset
