Job Summary: 

The Deighton Total Infrastructure Management System (dTIMS) serves as our core product ecosystem, delivering customizable solutions that empower clients to optimize infrastructure management. Success hinges on leveraging the flexibility and capabilities of the dTIMS environment. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities: 

dTIMS Products & Stakeholder Analytics

• Assist & support implementation projects throughout the entire project lifecycle (Discovery, Design, Implementation, Delivery)
• Configuration Review: Audit and organize dTIMS configurations, optimize setups, and compile proposed changes for approval.
• Reporting Analytics: Support the Implementation of Power BI Reports and Dashboards. Assist in the development of Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Project Documentation: Maintain real-time documentation of implementation activities and update implementation guides to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• UAT Assistance: Collaborate in User Acceptance Testing for new sites and permissions, ensuring proper functionality and compliance.
• Change Management: Execute software demonstrations ensure end users gain confidence in using, managing, and optimizing their dTIMS environment.

Internal Processes

• Internal Reporting: Assist the Professional Services department to achieve internal reporting KPIs through accurate and timely performance tracking, contributing to organizational objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide support on dTIMS-related products and leverage technical expertise to assist other departments in achieving business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills: 

• 16-month internship term available.
• Undergraduate degree in STEM related fields (Computer /Software Engineering, Computer Science)
• A background in Civil Engineering, Analytics, Software Training is considered an asset.
• Solid understanding of database concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in relational databases (SQL).
• Experience in GIS tools is considered an asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, Reporting tools.
• Experience in any statistical tools (i.e. Python, R, MATLAB, etc)
• Strong in creating clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation to support implementation projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts, with the ability to quickly assimilate knowledge and apply it effectively.
• Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel occasionally for project-related activities, client meetings, or on-site implementation support as required.

Salary Range: $20 - $24 CAD per Hour
