    • Strong experience with Apache or Confluent Kafka, Kafka Streams, Java, REST API development, Spring Boot, and Agile Development Practices<\/span><\/span>

      POSITION DESCRIPTION:<\/u><\/b><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span> <\/div>
      • Design and develop software applications using Twelve\-Factor App methodology from functional requirement Design and develop applications using Kafka, Java, REST API and spring boot<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to develop an understanding of needs.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Attend all Agile ceremonies.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Mentor Junior staff.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Design and develop Microservices using Spring Boot, Java and RESTful architecture.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI\/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • All other duties as assigned or directed.<\/span><\/span>

        • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Hands on experience with Kafka.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • 10+ years of experience with programming and designing software with Java.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • 8+ years of experience on an Agile development team, preferable Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Strong design and development experience with Kafka and Kafka Stream Processing technologies.<\/span>

          • Experience developing an event streaming pipeline, via Kafka, which includes a listener.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Extensive Design and Programming skills in Java and JEE technologies.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Strong experience working with RESTFUL API<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Extensive development skills using latest Spring Boot and Spring Security Experience.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience with front\-end technologies like Angular.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience architecting and deploying cloud\-native applications onto Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience identifying requirements, researching options, designing and implementing solutions at a leadership level on project work.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience with modern development software, tools, and methodologies; Jenkins, Git\/BitBucket, Jira, Nexus, Maven, & Jenkins.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience working on Agile projects and understanding Agile terminology.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Excellent communication and written skills.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Experience with Web Services Technologies like JSON.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

            • Proficient in designing and implementing Kafka\-based event\-driven architectures, including the use of Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and consumer groups for scalable and fault\-tolerant data streaming. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Experienced in configuring Kafka brokers, managing message retention policies, and optimizing throughput with appropriate replication and partitioning strategies. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Familiar with integrating Kafka Connect for data ingestion, utilizing Kafka Streams for real\-time data processing, and monitoring Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Experience with the implementation of Section 508 standards for Web Applications.<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Prior experience with federal or state governments IT projects.<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Experience with low code platforms like ServiceNow, Pega, MS Power Platform etc<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Strong communication and documentation skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
