OPAL-RT Technologies recherche un Stagiaire, Développement Logiciel Java / MATLAB.

Dépassement et défis stimulants: 

Sous la supervision du Chef d’équipe eFPGASIM, le stagiaire évoluera dans un environnement dynamique, inspiré des méthodologies Agiles/Scrum. Il participera activement à toutes les phases du développement logiciel et micrologiciel, contribuant à l’intégration de nouveaux solveurs numériques sur la plateforme OPAL-RT. 

Nous recherchons un candidat passionné, soucieux d’offrir une expérience utilisateur optimale tout en garantissant la rigueur et la qualité des processus de développement logiciel. Une aptitude au leadership technique et un engagement dans l’ensemble du cycle de développement, de la conception à la validation, sont fortement valorisés. 

Nos produits eFPGASIM et eHS (Electrical Hardware Solver) illustrent nos avancées technologiques dans ce domaine. Le développeur sélectionné sera amené à concevoir des outils facilitant la modélisation sur FPGA de systèmes d’électronique de puissance. Il contribuera également à l’amélioration continue des outils d’intégration et de déploiement (CI/CD) ainsi qu’à l’automatisation des tests. 

 

Principales responsabilités: 

• Participer à l’intégration des modèles dans l’écosystème OPAL-RT 
  

• Planification en équipe. 
  

• Conception logicielle; 
  

• Développement backend Java et MATLAB (analyse de circuits électriques, automatisation); 
  

• Développement d’interface utilisateur (Java FX, MATLAB); 
  

• Ajout de tests automatisés. 
  

• Participer aux procédures et processus d’amélioration continue (CI/CD); 
  

• Support client avancé. 
  

 Exigences: 

• Scolarité: Être aux études au Baccalauréat en génie informatique, logiciel ou électrique; 
  

• Connaissances requises: JAVA, MATLAB/Simulink, Git (ou outil équivalent).  
  

• Autres compétences (atouts): C++, Python, SQL, Technologie FPGA, Jenkins, Jira/Confluence, JavaScript, Workflow Agile, Intérêt pour la modélisation et le contrôle de système d’électronique de puissance, et/ou de moteurs électriques 
  

• Connaissances linguistiques: Français obligatoire; bonnes compétences en anglais pour lectures d’ouvrages spécialisés/scientifiques non disponibles en français. et pour l’utilisation de logiciels spécialisés qui existent uniquement en anglais.

Achievements and stimulating challenges: 

Under the supervision of the eFPGASIM Team Lead, the intern will work in a dynamic environment inspired by Agile/Scrum methodologies. They will actively participate in all phases of software and firmware development, contributing to the integration of new numerical solvers on the OPAL-RT platform. 

 

We are looking for a passionate candidate who strives to deliver the best user experience while ensuring high-quality software development processes. Strong technical leadership skills and involvement in the entire development cycle, from design to validation, are highly valued. 

 

Our products, eFPGASIM and eHS (Electrical Hardware Solver), showcase our technological advancements in this field. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing tools that facilitate FPGA-based modeling of power electronics systems. They will also have the opportunity to enhance CI/CD tools and test automation frameworks. 

Main Duties: 

• Participate in the integration of models into the OPAL-RT ecosystem: 
  

• Team planning; 
  

• Software design; 
  

• Java and MATLAB backend development (analysis of electrical circuits, automation); 
  

• User interface development (Java FX, MATLAB); 
  

• Addition of automated tests; 
  

• Participate in continuous improvement procedures and processes (CI / CD); 
  

• Advanced customer support. 
  

 

Requirements: 

• Education:Working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer, Software or Electrical engineering; 
  

• Required knowledge:JAVA, MATLAB / Simulink, Git (or equivalent tool) 
  

• Other skills (assets):C++, Python, SQL, FPGA Technology, Jenkins, Jira / Confluence, JavaScript, Agile Workflow, Interest in modeling and controlling power electronics system and/or electrical machines 
  

• Language abilities: French required; good English skills for reading specialized/scientific books not available in French and the use of specialized software that exists only in English.
  

• Required skills:Autonomy, versatility, proactivity, curiosity, organization, good communication, team spirit, rigor and determination, capacity for analysis and adaptation.
