This graduate-level intern will support two ongoing portfolios within the Department of Implementation Science. This role will support a multi‑state, cross‑sectional study evaluating access to HIV‑related services and harm‑reduction products in community pharmacies. This study will assess the dynamic availability of integrated HIV and overdose prevention services, guide state and organizational policies to improve equitable access, and co-design practical strategies to overcome access barriers. Using a mystery‑caller ("secret shopper") approach, the intern will assist with data collection, data verification, and documentation of pharmacy responses. In addition, this role will support the Supporting Health and Empowerment through Contingency Management and Affect Regulation for Equity and Success (SHE CARES) research study, supported by the National Institutes of Health the National Institute on Drug Abuse. SHE CARES is a community-designated intervention created for women who inject drugs, focused on reducing HIV risk and supporting emotional and physical well-being using Contingency Management and Positive Affect approaches.

Work requires walking, sitting, lifting and reaching overhead. Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds, shoulder height. Must be able to push patients in wheelchairs or supplies on a rolling cart. Intact sense of sight and hearing is required. Responsible for working in a safe manner.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required. Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
