The Opportunity
The Technical Business Analyst plays a key role in shaping and enhancing the digital platforms and data systems that underpin world-leading research and innovation at UNSW. Working across a complex enterprise environment, you will partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver technology enabled improvements that enhance how research information, services and processes are managed across the University.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business needs and technology outcomes, translating requirements into practical solutions that deliver value for users and stakeholders. You will support a diverse portfolio of initiatives, including business process improvement, enterprise platform enhancements, reporting and analytics, and the implementation of new capabilities that support the evolving needs of the research community.
Working closely with colleagues across Faculties, Schools, Divisions and external partners, you will build strong relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments to deliver meaningful outcomes. This is an opportunity to apply your analytical, technical and problem-solving skills in a role that combines business engagement, data and technology, while contributing to research and innovation at one of Australia's leading universities.
While experience in higher education or research environments is beneficial, we welcome applications from candidates with transferable business analysis experience gained in other complex organisations and industries.
