UX Front-End Developer (Angular)

🖼️ Are you a UX Front-End Developer who enjoys owning the full user experience - from designing intuitive workflows to building them in Angular? 

We’re hiring a UX Front-End Developer (Angular) to join fast-growing Canadian fintech company building modern mortgage platforms that streamline how brokers and clients connect, transact, and manage the entire financing experience. 

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where you won’t be handed polished designs - you’ll work directly with stakeholders and end-users to define, prototype, and design experiences from scratch, and then bring them to life through hands-on Angular development. 

💻 Who You Are 

• A front-end developer with a strong eye for design and user experience 
• Someone who enjoys both figuring out what to build and actually building it 
• Comfortable translating conversations and requirements into intuitive UI and workflows 
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance 
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with BAs, business stakeholders, and developers 
• Technically strong in Angular, with a solid understanding of how front-end systems operate 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities 

📍 Work Type 

• Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week in the office)

🎯 What You’ll Do 

• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and define user needs 
• Design user experiences from the ground up - creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes (Figma or similar) 
• Translate designs and requirements into scalable Angular front-end applications 
• Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces 
• Integrate front-end components with APIs in a modern, data-driven environment 
• Apply best practices across state management, data flow, performance, and caching 
• Continuously improve user workflows based on feedback and real-world usage 
• Ensure designs meet accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate within a Scrum-based environment 

⭐ What We’re Looking For 

• 4+ years of experience in front-end development for web applications 
• Strong hands-on experience building applications using Angular (required) 
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 
• Experience creating wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma (or similar) 
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG) 
• Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data 
• Understanding of front-end architecture concepts (state management, caching, performance) 
• Experience with Git/GitHub and modern development workflows 
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments 
• Experience working on workflow-heavy or data-driven applications

• Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
