Support team members in day-to-day tasks and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
Call provider offices to obtain medical orders and follow up on any missing documentation or incomplete orders.
Utilize Epic to process electronic orders and manage workflows efficiently.
Ensure that orders are properly faxed to providers and follow up with providers on scheduled follow updates Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider contact information, including calling doctor’s offices to update fax numbers and addresses.
Provide follow-up to ensure that orders are authorized and signed by the appropriate providers.
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
Be in good academic standing
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026
Strong computer proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with medical providers and office staff.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
