Overview

The VP AWS Partner Sales & Marketing is responsible for owning, strengthening, and scaling Adastras strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services. This leader drives AWSaligned gotomarket (GTM) initiatives, deepens executive relationships, accelerates cosell performance, and ensures Adastra maximizes its participation across AWS partner programs, competencies, and specializations. 

 

They serve as the seniormost representative of Adastra within the AWS ecosystem, ensuring strong visibility, proactive field engagement, and measurable revenue, certification, and workloadmigration impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and execute the North America AWS partnership strategy aligned with Adastra’s Cloud, Data, and AI priorities
  • Build andmaintain senior relationships across AWS Partner Management, field sellers, Industry Specialists, and Solution Architects 
  • Drive partnersourced and partnerinfluenced pipeline, ensuring strong cosell alignment and opportunity acceleration
  • Lead AWS governance including JBPs, QBRs, competency plans, and MAP/PGP fundingutilization 
  • Shape AWSaligned solutions and offerings, including industry accelerators, modernization plays, and GenAI/Bedrock use cases
  • Enable Sales, Delivery, and PreSales with AWSspecific sales plays, training, and partner program guidance
  • Oversee comarketing and GTM execution across AWS campaigns, case studies, events (Summits,re:Invent), and solution listings 
  • Strengthen AWS technical capability through certification growth and APN Competency/Specialization attainment
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and governance across AWS opportunities
  • Serve as Adastra’s executive representative across the AWS ecosystem, elevating presence, impact, and industry credibility

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required: 

  • 7+years in cloud alliances, AWS partner management, cloud GTM leadership, or enterprise cloud transformation roles
  • Deep understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), analytics stack (Glue, EMR, Redshift), and Bedrock/AI stack
  • Demonstrated success driving AWS cosell pipeline and aligning with AWS field teams
  • Strong experience with APN programs, MAP funding cycles, GTM plays, and competency pathways
  • Executivelevel communication and relationshipbuilding skills

Preferred: 

  • Experience at or partnering with AWS, Accenture, Slalom, Deloitte, Onica, Rackspace, or toptier AWSaligned SIs
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional preferred).
  • Experience with industryspecific cloud use cases
  • Background in both consulting and enterprise cloud sales

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience working with AWS Bedrock, Agentic AI ecosystems, and GenAI program governance
  • Familiarity with AWS Marketplace deal structures
  • Experience building IP, accelerators, or packaged offerings
