Forward Madison FC is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join the creative team. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various design projects, gain hands-on experience, and work closely with our design team to enhance your skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Design Projects:
    • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and layouts for various projects. (e.g. Game Day graphics, Videoboard graphics, Ticket Pack info, Theme Nights, etc.)
    • Work with the Creative Team to highlight promotions and sponsors both on an individual match and season-long basis, including the fulfillment of digital & social deliverables from sponsor contracts for the sponsorship department.
    • Have and maintain an in-depth knowledge of creative best practices and remain at the forefront of innovation for each platform.
    • Bring creative ideas to the table and communicate them within a collaborative environment.

Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), to produce high-quality designs.
  • Conceptualize and Execute Designs:
    • Work on conceptualizing and executing creative design solutions that align with project goals and brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to ensure cohesive and consistent visual messaging.
  • Stay Updated on Design Trends:
    • Be cognizant of industry trends and best practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
  • Portfolio Development:
    • Continuously update and improve your design portfolio with the work completed during the internship.

Requirements:
  • All interns are expected to work every home match, playoff match, and special events held at Breese Stevens Field.
  • Stadium work is part of the gig-this could include tasks such as painting, hanging signs, cleaning grandstands, picking up garbage, bagging ice, raking, sweeping and many other outdoor tasks.
  • All Interns will be required to participate in weekly sports management workshops.
  • Accept and abide by all terms of the Intern Code of Conduct. 
  • Accept and abide by all terms of the Forward Madison FC Intern Handbook and Intern Confidentiality Agreement (provided during onboarding).


Qualifications:
  • Pursuing or holding a Degree in Graphic Design:
    • Currently enrolled in a graphic design program or recently graduated.
  • Software Skills:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro).
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.
  • Team Player:
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
