Advisory Business Analysts gather the information to define the business needs of clients and design solutions to connect with Avanade’s technology capabilities and consultants. This typically involves working closely with client stakeholders to understand existing business processes and using that knowledge to work with Avanade’s technical teams to create a new and improved experience for the client. 


As a Business Analyst, you will be a vital contributor to client projects. 

You will learn business analysis techniques from senior analysts, ensure adherence to Avanade standards, and learn how to best work with clients to successfully drive projects. 

You will be at the intersection of client business needs and Avanade technical solutions and will help shape the end user experience for a wide range of products across industries. 

What you will do:

  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements 
  • Work with client stakeholders and manage scope
  • Assist development and test team members in understanding and creating solutions
  • Review, understand, and apply Avanade delivery standards
  • Perform scribe activities
  • Work with other analysts to deliver quality projects

Skills and Experiences:  

  • College Junior-standing with target graduation date between between June 2026 and February 2027.
  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a business or technology-related discipline 
  • Creative mind and collaborative spirit 
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented, project-based work environment 
  • Proven leadership experience in an academic, extra-curricular or professional setting 
  • Strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to think on your feet 
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment 
  • Interest in beginning a career in technology consulting upon receiving your undergraduate degree

Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. 
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate. 

Salary: British Columbia / Alberta / Ontario / Nova Scotia - 25$ per hour
