Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects for some of the most recognized technology clients in the world. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of data center construction projects
  • Assist with subcontractor buyout, scope review, and contract administration
  • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control
  • Coordinate with superintendents to align schedule, sequencing, and field execution
  • Participate in schedule updates, cost tracking, and budget reporting
  • Interface with owners, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Help ensure compliance with quality, safety, and commissioning requirements typical of mission-critical facilities
  • Contribute to project closeout, turnover, and lessons-learned processes

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction with a general contractor
  • Prior exposure to data centers, mission-critical, industrial, or complex MEP-driven projects strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of construction documents, subcontracts, schedules, and cost controls
  • Experience working alongside project managers and superintendents on active job sites
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Primavera/P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
