The Job You Will Perform:
The High School Internship is a paid 8-week (40-hour work week) program intended to give students experiences in paper manufacturing. Prior to the internship, the students will successfully complete the Mechanical Maintenance curriculum at high school the previous year. The intention of the internship is to give students hands-on daily maintenance by shadowing pre-selected and trained mentors. While the students will have some hands-on experience, they will not be permitted to run machinery or lock out/tag out equipment prior to work.
The Skills You Will Bring:
At least one year in the millwright program at Bogalusa High School.
