The Business Analyst plays a key role in improving how Provincial Credit Union uses technology to support staff and serve members. This role works closely with departments across the organization, along with technology partners to understand needs, analyze processes, and implement practical solutions. The Business Analyst supports the implementation and optimization of platforms, helps translate business requirements into effective solutions, and contributes to initiatives that improve efficiency, user experience, and business outcomes.


What You’ll Do:

Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and process flows.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors on solution design and implementation.
  • Validate solutions through testing, data analysis, and user feedback.


Support Technology & Platform Improvements

  • Support the implementation and enhancement of digital platforms and systems.
  • Help configure and optimize platform capabilities, including workflow automation and low-code solutions.
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades, and change management activities.
  • Investigate and resolve system-related issues and support ongoing platform operations.


Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a key connection between business teams, Innovation, IT, and external vendors.
  • Communicate system changes, timelines, and impacts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support training, documentation, and user adoption when new features or tools are introduced.


Deliver Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze system usage and process performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support reporting and dashboards that help teams make better decisions.
  • Document processes, system configurations, and best practices.
  • Stay current on technology trends and recommend improvements where appropriate.


What You Bring:

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience working with business systems, enterprise applications, or digital platforms.
  • Experience supporting technology implementations, system enhancements, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in financial services is an asset.


Skills & Attributes

  • Strong business analysis and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and solve problems.
  • Comfort working with technology platforms and system concepts.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation.
  • Experience supporting platform configuration, SaaS solutions, APIs, or workflow tools.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors or service providers.
