Business Analyst – Renewable Gas (Trellis)

A leading energy client is seeking a Business Analyst / SME to support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Trellis platform within a growing Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) business.
This role sits at the intersection of trading, operations, and technology—ideal for someone who understands the full trade lifecycle and can translate business needs into system solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Gather and define business requirements across trading, risk, and operations
- Act as an SME across front-to-back office workflows
- Support configuration and optimization of the Trellis platform
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure system outputs align with business expectations
- Drive UAT, testing, and solution validation
- Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in energy trading / ETRM environments
- Experience with Trellis or similar trading platforms
- Exposure to Renewable Gas, biofuels, or environmental markets
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (deal capture → settlement)
- SQL or data analysis skills are a plus
