Job Description

Our client is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic technology and business initiatives across the organization. This hybrid role combines strong business analysis expertise with disciplined project management execution to ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and executive leadership to translate business needs into actionable solutions and manage projects from initiation through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder engagement.
- Develop business cases, current/future state analysis, gap assessments, and process maps.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Support solution evaluation, vendor assessments, and RFP processes.
- Ensure alignment of initiatives with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.

Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure).
- Develop detailed project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Manage scope, change control, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams including IT, operations, finance, and external vendors.
- Provide executive-level reporting and status updates.
- Ensure projects adhere to governance, compliance, and cybersecurity standards.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management roles.
- Experience delivering IT and enterprise business transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
- Experience with requirements management tools and project tracking platforms.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in regulated industries (energy, utilities, public sector) is an asset.

Preferred Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
- PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum Master), or equivalent certifications
