Position Summary
The Business Analyst Co-op will support De Havilland’s operational and business improvement initiatives by developing reporting tools, analyzing data, and assisting with process optimization activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role will contribute to the implementation of dashboards, business requirements documentation, and project tracking tools that improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, stakeholder needs, and process workflows.
Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of solutions.
Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new tools, systems, and reporting platforms.
Support the implementation and maintenance of project management tracking tools, databases, and performance reporting systems.
Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Operations Management, MIS, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret data, understand business needs, and communicate findings clearly.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving operational environment.
Previous experience in an office, analytical, or project support environment is considered an asset.
