Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours per week (Guaranteed)
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a long-term care team in Hot Springs, South Dakota. This 13-week contract assignment involves providing high-quality daily care to residents while ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety in a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and resident condition
Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutritional intake
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
Document care provided accurately according to facility standards
Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in South Dakota or compact/eligible state
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible rotating shifts
Compassionate, patient-focused, and dependable approach to care
Ability to safely assist with resident mobility and physical care requirements
