Description: InterAgency, Inc. is looking for a Data Analyst II to support our clean water group. The successful candidate will help inform InterAgency’s planning efforts for clean water infrastructure implementation. The Data Analyst II will work with the end-client’s unique data and translate it into high-quality and actionable insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of water infrastructure implementation. Day to day, the activities include analyzing metrics of success, developing data-driven insights, and communicating recommendations in a clear and compelling fashion.

- Experience translating technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights for the client and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in advanced SQL & ability to write complex queries from scratch from multiple tables.
- Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years’ experience in client-facing data analysis roles.
- 2+ years of consulting experience with a major consulting firm or engineering firm.
- Excellent data driven storytelling skills – you create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals to high level stakeholders.
- Fluency with Python. Must be able to run advanced statistical modelling and analysis.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Self-directed problem solving.
- Microsoft Power BI certification or equivalent (Tableau, Qlik, Visier, OneModel or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Managed a data-driven project through the full lifecycle (initiation through closure), overseeing budgets, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
- Has directly presented or delivered insights from technical projects to executive audiences, resulting in a defined business action, strategy, or policy adjustment.
- Has mapped, designed, or evaluated people analytics data and technology workflows (including data sourcing, transformation, and visualization) for at least one organization or major initiative.
- Applied analytic and data visualization skills to support at least 3 projects, using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or other visualization platforms to drive decision-making.
Employment Conditions:

- Work conditions & location: Hybrid - Will work on-site at client location three (3) or more days per week.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this position is determined based on a combination of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and applicable licenses.
