Digital Media Intern

Veneer Technologies (VTI) has an opportunity for a Summer Intern to team up with our Marketing Department! You will work with the Communications Manager to gain hands on experience in various marketing strategies and develop a better understanding of how marketing equates to meaningful company initiatives!

This program includes two specialized roles: Digital Media Intern and Copywriting Intern. While each role has a unique focus, both interns will work together on campaign strategy, content development, and execution.

Digital Media Intern will focus on visual storytelling through videography, photography, and graphic design. 

Duties and responsibilities may include:                      

• Filming and editing website content and short-form, social first content.
• Capturing photography throughout the facility
• Designing graphics for social media and marketing campaigns
• Supporting visual content for campaign launches

Preferred Skills:

• Basic photography and video editing skills
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 
• Familiarity with CapCut (or other video editing software) and Canva
• Portfolio encouraged but not required (may include work from school assignments)

• Applicants must be through their sophomore year at a 4-year accredited college or university with courses focused on      obtaining a degree in marketing, design, or similar field.
• Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to collaborate and work effectively on a team.
• Live within the area of Newport, NC or be willing to relocate for the summer. Arrangements can be made for housing to be      provided for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
