This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Properly utilize dishwasher and maintain awareness of appropriate dish chemical levels.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes and silverware and wiping tables clean.
- Sort and stack clean dishes in an organized fashion. Return dishes to their proper locations once washed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure safety and quality of food served.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience in bussing, cleaning, or culinary roles will be considered a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow supervisor direction.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
