Your mission: 

As a Firmware QA Analyst - Co-op, you will contribute to high-quality product development through validating the features implemented by the development team. You will be working directly with our building controller products, and you will work with a large variety of technologies and network protocols. 


This is an 8 month co-op work term, with a start date in May 2026This position is open to students who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program. 



In this role you will: 

  • Execute test plans for our hardware, and software products 
  • Record test results and issues found using our testing and bug tracking software 
  • Troubleshoot to verify and diagnose cause of issues 
  • Verify functional requirements 
  • Verify resolved bugs 

 

This role might be right for you if you have: 

  • Completed relevant coursework in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering   
  • Knowledge of TCP/UDP network protocols. 
  • Experience in the IT field. 
  • Outstanding communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Desire to figure out how to break things and put them back together. 
  • A detailed oriented mind and the ability to isolate problems into repeatable steps.
