The Management Intern Program at Hotel Monteleone has been designed for graduates with the great potential to become a part of our top management team and to progress rapidly within our hotel.

Program Overview
The Management Intern Program at Hotel Monteleone is a paid internship program that is designed to give college students an opportunity to enhance their education with hands on, career-related experience. The program helps prepare college students to work effectively in the hospitality industry while gaining hands-on work experience which can aid the students in solidifying their career choice. This in turn will result in higher job satisfaction and higher productivity. Being a part of our program builds productive, working relationships, cultivates team camaraderie and prepares participants to be successful; a true advantage in a future career with Hotel Monteleone.

The intern will develop people management skills in a variety of learning environments and will gain a management perspective of all the hospitality functions. The student will spend no more than two weeks in each department, performing various tasks in each role at the hotel as well as shadowing managers.

Program Duration
The program will take place over 12 months.

Qualifications
The program is open to students who are pursuing their degree in Hospitality Management. In addition, applicants must:

• Be a senior or be in the last year of graduate or undergraduate studies or recent graduate within six (6) months of graduating

• Be fluent in English language (written and verbally)

• Have hospitality related work or practical experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills and involvement in extracurricular activities or organizations

• Ability to speak a language other than English is a plus

Position Status and Availability
The individual selected for this position must be available to work a full-time, flexible (AM or PM) shift, Sunday - Saturday including holidays.
