ROLE SUMMARY
The Human Resources Intern supports the Internal Operations team by assisting with day-to-day human resources activities that contribute to a positive employee experience and strong organizational culture. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, training coordination, and HR administration.
Working closely with the Human Resources Manager, the intern will gain practical experience in HR operations while learning how human capital strategies support the firm’s long-term business objectives. This role offers meaningful participation in internal initiatives, administrative processes, and special projects, while emphasizing professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support
Assist with posting job openings on internal and external platforms (including ADP)
Help coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates
Support reference checks and background check processes
Organize applicant materials and maintain accurate recruiting records
Onboarding & Employee Experience
Support new hire onboarding logistics, including preparation of orientation materials
Assist with tracking onboarding tasks and documentation
Help ensure new employees have timely access to required systems and resources
Training & HR Programs
Assist with coordinating training sessions related to compliance, professional development, and firm initiatives
Help research training opportunities and organize training materials
Track completion of required trainings and certifications
HR Administration & Operations
Maintain employee records and documentation with a high degree of confidentiality
Assist with data entry, reporting, and file management within HR systems
Support HR-related communications and internal announcements
Assist with special HR projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
Interest in human resources, people operations, or organizational development
