The State of Wisconsin Public Service Commission is looking for 1 (one) .NET Web Developer II
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
• Application development expertise using .NET MVC Core with C# and JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. (5 years)
• Application development experience with Visual Studio including .NET application and web application design patterns. (5 years)
• Experience with SQL Server and Client tools, including creating/updating database tables, views, stored procedures, and functions. (5 years)
• Experience performing unit and smoke tests (5 years)
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience with Telerik Kendo (or similar), Bootstap, Entity Framework Core. (3 years)
• Experience with source control using Git. (3 years)
• Techniques to proactively prevent and reactively respond to security threats. (3 years)

Onsite or Remote? Candidates must be WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Hybrid role with 1 day in office PER WEEK.
Project details (project overview, who the contractor will work with, soft skills needed, etc.):
The person in this position will work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application. Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC with C# and JavaScript, Telerik Kendo, CSS, HTML and SQL Server databases.
