Description

We are seeking a technically strong Year‑Round Intern with foundational skills in AI, software development, and data engineering to support enterprise technology and product teams. This role blends hands-on coding, AI-driven problem solving, and product support, enabling intern to contribute to real solutions while building modern engineering capabilities.

Participate in a collaborative, team driven network and interact with multiple departments. Receive guidance and direction from team and management. Utilize and further develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques and creative problem solving abilities. Provide professional execution of day to day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies and procedures. This is a year-round, Full or Part -Time, flexible internship based on school schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Support assigned teams through small projects or components of larger initiatives  
  • Contribute to business strategy and technology initiatives within the business unit and across the organization  
  • Develop and support AI/ML use cases (e.g., automation, prediction, NLP, classification)  
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions using LLMs, including prompt engineering, evaluation, and quality optimization  
  • Build and integrate automation workflows, REST APIs, and microservices supporting scalable and event-driven architectures  
  • Develop and test solutions using Python, Java, or similar technologies; participate in code reviews and agile engineering practices  
  • Perform data processing, feature engineering, and pipeline development to support AI/ML solutions  
  • Deploy and integrate solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) in collaboration with cross-functional teams  
  • Evaluate AI outputs to improve quality, accuracy, and bias controls  
  • Conduct research and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to support innovation and decision-making  
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver on assigned tasks and priorities  
  • Provide day-to-day operational support while adhering to enterprise standards, policies, and procedures  
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, with a focus on member service excellence  
  • Process and analyze data, generate reports, and support system updates as needed  
  • Perform other duties as assigned 


Qualifications
    • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field)  

    • Foundational understanding of AI concepts, including prompts and Large Language Models (LLMs)  

    • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)  

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills  

    • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment  

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills  

    • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines  

    • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy 

     

    Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (minimum of 20-25 hours a week, based on school schedule)
