Junior Business Analyst

Position Overview

This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to get hands-on experience supporting facilities and workplace operations for a major energy company. You will work directly with a Facilities team to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly while building project coordination skills across a fast-paced environment. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple requests at once, this role is a solid fit.

Pay Rate: $34.90/hr
Location: Houston, TX (On-site, locals only)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Duration: 12-month contract starting May 26, 2026

Client Overview

Our client is a well-established player in the utilities and energy sector operating a supplier marketplace platform. The facilities and workplace team you will support manages a large corporate environment with multiple sites, requiring coordination across vendors, contractors, property management, and internal employees on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to facilities mailbox requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  • Assist with employee parking requests and space-related inquiries
  • Support facilities and workplace projects from initial planning through completion
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule
  • Help coordinate office moves, renovations, space planning, and furniture installations
  • Track schedules, budgets, work orders, invoices, and project status updates
  • Support maintenance coordination with external vendors
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and property management on facilities-related requests
  • Travel to field sites as needed (up to 30%) to assess furniture needs and workspace requests

Requirements

Required:

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in facilities, operations, project coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Native or bilingual English proficiency
  • Authorized to work in the US as a citizen, green card holder, or green card EAD holder

Preferred:

  • University degree in a relevant discipline
  • Prior experience in utilities, energy, or corporate facilities environments
  • Familiarity with work order tracking systems or facilities management software
