Junior Developer

OneCloud is seeking a Junior Developer to join our growing development team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, collaborate, and expand their technical skills in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will work across both frontend and backend technologies, contributing to modern, responsive applications for web and mobile platforms.

In this role, you will participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, assist in building user interfaces and backend systems, and engage in code reviews and mentorship opportunities. This position is ideal for someone passionate about technology and dedicated to becoming a well-rounded full-stack developer.

 Duties and Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain clean, readable code for both frontend and backend applications.
• Work with languages and technologies such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues across the full application stack.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and support planning efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Learn new technologies and development best practices to expand your technical skill set.
• Document code and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly.
• Support and implement middleware applications, including API functionality between frontend and backend systems.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

 Required Skills and Abilities 

• Basic familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of foundational web development concepts.
• Experience or exposure to TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Ability to quickly learn new languages, frameworks, and development tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow within a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Codex.
• Ability to provide a link to a public GitHub profile for review.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience/bootcamp certification).
• 1–2 years of professional development experience or significant academic/personal development projects.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer workstation.
