ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Arc of the Ozarks invites you to join our team of value-driven professionals as a Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (LBCBA), a senior clinical role where your expertise shapes not only client outcomes, but the quality of care delivered across our entire ABA department.
You'll serve as a mentor, a clinician, and a leader, applying the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to support individuals of all ages in directing their own lives as valued members of the community.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Conduct functional behavior assessments including analogue functional analyses, descriptive analyses, preference assessments, and skills assessments tailored to each individual.
- Develop written behavior support plans and skills acquisition programs targeting both problem behavior reduction and independence-building.
- Design practical data collection systems, construct and analyze graphs in Microsoft Excel, and drive data-based treatment decisions.
- Implement programming directly and train caregivers to execute recommendations with fluency; monitor treatment fidelity and provide regular, actionable feedback.
- Distribute graphs and narrative summaries to all client teams at least monthly.
- Utilize crisis prevention and intervention skills; maintain composure and coach caregivers effectively during crisis situations.
- Modify programming based on client progress, direct observation, contextual fit, and team feedback.
- Develop plans for fading contrived supports, generalization, and transitioning clients toward greater independence.
- Peer-review programming written by agency BCBAs and ABA Specialists.
- Provide management and clinical supervision to ABA Specialists, Registered Behavior Technicians, and practicum students per BACB standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings alongside professionals, families, service coordinators, and management.
- Mentor new department members and lead specific programs as assigned.
- Actively continue professional development through literature review and CEU attainment.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Ability to conduct individualized, experimentally validated assessments
- Strong training and supervision skills for diverse caregiver teams
- Ability to collect, graph, and apply behavioral data to treatment decisions
- Fluency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor team members while working collaboratively
- Crisis prevention and intervention competency
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive for work purposes
Minimum Education & Credentials:
- Master's Degree (accredited institution) in Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Missouri Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure in good standing
- Completion of BACB-approved 8-hour Supervision Training
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or psychiatric disorders
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
