Our client, a leading mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to join their team in San Diego, CA. With nearly a century of proven customer commitment and ownership, they operate with the highest safety standards for employees and clients alike. Their services include industry-leading Building Information Modeling (BIM), design/build solutions, sustainable practices, commercial HVAC services, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations. This role will oversee mechanical construction projects—ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget—across a range of markets including Healthcare, Life Sciences, Commercial, Industrial, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Ensuring the safety of field personnel assigned to projects
Overseeing field labor productivity, quality control, and project coordination
Managing project financial performance, forecasts, and reporting
Procuring materials and equipment
Administering change orders and maintaining strong client relationships
Managing project cash flow and personnel
Complying with all company operating policies, procedures, and plans
Additional duties may be assigned. Project Managers are expected to oversee and direct their teams effectively and be available during the working hours of any direct reports.
