Job Type: Contract

Work schedule: Normal business hours Monday-Friday 35 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work.

Duration: 10 Months

Pay Rate: $80 to $90 per hour

Job Description /Justification

We are looking for Logging & Recording (L&R) Project Manager who will be responsible for Call Handling upgrades of the Next Generation 9-1-1 emergency call system and provide expertise and technical knowledge during the configuration, and test phases.

NG911 - Logging & Recording Project Manager

  • Assist the L&R technical SME to test and deploy appropriate L&R solutions.
  • Determine resource requirements, team roles and responsibilities, and schedule.
  • Develop and review estimates and assumptions for the project’s schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, etc.
  • Manage projects throughout the entire assessment and development lifecycle, providing direction for project teams and monitoring the progress of deliverables and tasks.
  • Work closely with executive level leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

  • At least 8 years of project management experience with analog and IP based telephony recording for emergency communications networks or related technologies.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing medium to large scale projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in vendor management;
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; ability to be a systems thinker, attention to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability with strong visual presentation and public speaking skills;
  • Experienced in interfacing with executive level management and giving senior level presentations;
  • Experience with logging and recording technologies w/ analog and digital, Networking, SQL, Security, Telephony, TDM, VoIP and CTI;
  • PMP certification.
  • Solid technical experience in a large-scale enterprise environment for Emergency Services.
