Position Summary
The Photojournalist Internship is focused on capturing candid and portrait photography, editing and uploading photo selects, and collecting testimonials to support The Fresh Air Fund’s communications efforts. The Photojournalist Intern is an integral part of the Communications team, and their work will document our summer programs and build our content library.
This role is a hybrid position and splits time between working remotely from home and at program sites multiple times a week at The Fund’s camps in Fishkill, NY and Harriman State Park.
This is a seasonal role from Monday, June 22nd through Friday, August 21st, 2026. Typical hours are 9am-5pm, with the possibility for occasional evening and weekend commitments, working no more than 35 hours per week.

As new public health issues arise, The Fresh Air Fund may require additional vaccinations. Proof of vaccination or an approved exemption will be required as a condition of employment, if applicable.
