The Private Banking Intern will assist the private banking team in delivering tailored financial services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. This role provides hands-on experience in wealth management, client relationship management, and financial planning. The intern will gain insight into the daily operations of a private banking team and develop a deep understanding of financial products and services.
The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Client Support:
Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, and account reviews.
Support the onboarding process for new clients, including document collection and verification
Address client inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate team members.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct market and financial product research to support client solutions.
Analyze client portfolios and recommend adjustments based on financial objectives.
Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
Operational Support:
Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, account updates, and record maintenance.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations during all client interactions.
Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate seamless client services.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Private Bankers, Investment Advisors, and other team members.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.
Learning and Development:
Shadow senior team members to understand the nuances of private banking.
Engage in self-directed learning about financial products, investment strategies, and client relationship management.
