Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care to provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. The RN will oversee patient care, administer medications, and ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessments and care planning
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents’ health conditions and report changes to physicians
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
- Assist residents with daily living needs and ensure comfort
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Promote a safe and clean environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Minnesota or Compact State)
- Ability to work night shifts
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or higher from an accredited institution
Licensure / Certification
- RN License – Minnesota or Compact State (Required)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) or relevant nursing experience
- Experience in medication administration and patient monitoring
- Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills
