SUMMARY

Primary goal will be to analyze, design, implement, and support SAP solutions that enhance our operational processes, driving efficiency and accuracy throughout our organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to this position. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, logistics, production, continuous improvement, and IT, to gather and understand business requirements related to key operational departments.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the warehouse and logistics domain, utilizing SAP capabilities and best practices.
  • Work with external vendors to design and configure SAP solutions, particularly in Warehouse Management (WM) and Materials Management (MM), to streamline processes, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.
  • Perform testing, and documentation to support process improvements and business requirements.
  • Assist and management of troubleshooting and resolution of SAP-related issues in a timely manner, providing end-user support and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with external SAP consultants and vendors when necessary, ensuring seamless integration and performance of SAP modules.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SAP technologies related to warehouse and logistics management, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our operations.
  • Participate in the development of training materials and provide training sessions to end-users to ensure proper system utilization and understanding.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant certifications in SAP modules (e.g., SAP WM, SAP MM) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an SAP S4/Hana Analyst or similar role, with preference for experience in complex supply chain organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
  • Experience in project management, including leading or participating in SAP implementation projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using SAP tools and third-party reporting tools. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP S4/Hana Analyst in an operational environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • International travel (US, UK and Netherlands) expected approximately once per quarter (up to max of twice per quarter).
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Project, and Excel

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear and frequently required to sit.  Employee is occasionally required stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Employee must be willing to travel up 20%  (domestic and international) and may be required to travel by automobile, plane, train or other forms of public transportation. The employee must be able to assess, navigate and exchange accurate information to arrive at and depart from various locations to conduct business.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is generally in an office environment but may be required to periodically walk to other departments and/or areas of the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but can moderate from time to time.
