o The IT SAP Functional – Sales & Distribution (SD) plays a key role in supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions that meet business requirements.
o The IT SAP Functional – Sales & Distribution (SD) will work closely with business users and technical teams to translate functional needs into effective SAP system solutions and ensure smooth system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Distribution
o Lead and design SAP S/4HANA SD solutions aligned with business requirements
o Drive end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in S/4HANA
o Configure and optimize:
o Organizational structures
o Customer and Business Partner master data
o Sales documents, deliveries, billing, and returns
o Pricing, condition techniques, and output management
o Manage S/4HANA-specific innovations:
o Business Partner approach
o SAP Fiori apps for SD processes
o Handle advanced topics:
o Credit Management (FSCM)
o Revenue Recognition
o Intercompany and third-party sales
o Order to Cash processes
o Pricing and conditions techniques
o Billing and FI integration
o Lead integration with FI (Universal Journal), MM, EWM, and PP
Implementation & Support
o Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications
o Configure SAP modules according to business processes and best practices
o Support SAP implementations, enhancements, and rollouts
o Work with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration) to deliver functional solutions
o Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including process flows and configuration guides
o Participating in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)
o Identify and resolve functional issues and provide ongoing application support
o Assist in user training, change management, and knowledge transfer
o Ensure solutions comply with internal controls and system standards
o Support continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization
Required Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field
o 7+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP SD
o Hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration
o Strong functional knowledge of order-to-cash processes
o Experience with SAP IBP modules and planning concepts
o Knowledge of integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA/ECC
o Good understanding of master data dependencies and data quality
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
o SAP S/4HANA SD certification
o Experience with Central Credit Management (FSCM)
o Exposure to SD–EWM integration
o Experience in data migration (CVI, SD master data)
o Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
o Exposure to SAP Fiori, reports, and interfaces
o Experience in global or multi-company SAP environments
o Industry experience: Automotive Supplier and/or Automotive Manufacturing
