Position Summary
The Senior Network Analyst leads the development and implementation of network and telecommunications strategies in our organization. This role involves analyzing network requirements, conducting research, and synthesizing data across all sites to ensure consistent communication and system availability. The Analyst will strategize for optimization, manage the entire process from planning to execution, and mentor junior network analysts. Key responsibilities include influencing network lifecycle, conducting proactive internal process reviews, driving strategic projects, and collaborating with various vendors and IT leaders to align with our IT budget strategy.
Compensation
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At ND Paper, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Key Responsibilities & Expected Results:
- Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
- Monitor network performance
- Design/Implement network changes
- Troubleshoot network issues
- Maintain network security
- Create/Maintain network documentation
- Physically travel when required to replace/upgrade network gear
- Lead the creation and management of all documentation for technology solutions, ensuring lifecycle comprehensiveness.
- Collaborate with the Network Team to deliver technology solutions focused on supportability, cost efficiency, and lifecycle understanding.
- Secure Operational and Business Networking Technologies as per defined cybersecurity guidelines.
- Ensure precise execution and delivery of assigned tasks.
- Manage network hardware/software to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Assist the Network Team in the acquisition, testing, implementation, and support of network communications.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members.
- Guarantee service delivery within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct effective system monitoring to ensure operational excellence.
- Promptly identify, address, and resolve or escalate all reported issues.
- Keep up with new developments related to networking in the industry

- Handle the full lifecycle management of documentation for technology solutions.
- Conduct thorough monitoring of systems to maintain optimal function.
- Rapidly identify, address, and resolve or escalate reported issues.
Qualifications and Skills (Performance Oriented)
Education and Experience
- Minimum 7 years in IT, including 3 years managing complex network administration projects in a dynamic IT environment.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not a mandatory requirement.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical abilities, and a keen business understanding.
- Highly energetic, self-driven, and motivated individual.
- Skilled in collaborating with internal teams to design and implement effective solutions.
Technical Skills
- Networking certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar, are required.
- Proficient in installing and maintaining Cisco Routers, Cisco ISE and Wireless, Palo Alto Firewalls, Active Directory, with a strong grasp of Cyber Security and IP Telecommunications.
