Senior Project Manager - Electromechanical or Hardware Product Development

StarFish Medical is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex electromechanical product development projects from concept to commercialization.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle product development programs from concept through to manufacturing transfer.
• Strategically manage client relationships throughout program development, building trust and ensuring clarity of development and business strategy, risk management and supporting key trade-off decisions.
• Demonstrate PMO excellence by executing your programs to a high project management standard, including project planning, schedule management, budget management and reporting, resource management, stakeholder management, risk management, effective project team execution and ensuring your projects are delivered to the committed scope, schedule, quality and cost.
• Manage system integration across mechanical, electrical, software, and industrial design disciplines.
• Support business growth by identifying and securing follow-on opportunities.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned technical PM with at least 10 years of experience managing multidisciplinary product development projects.
• Hold a degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, biomedical engineering, or business.
• Experienced and adept at managing complex projects as a senior project manager who appreciates the need for strong planning, effective execution and complicated stakeholder management.
• You appreciate, see and manage the whole picture and know when to engage your subject matter experts for complex technical challenges facing the team.
• You understand and appreciate the business drivers and strategic challenges in novel product development and can navigate this with your client and stakeholders.
• Experienced in working on product requirements to standards compliance.
• Comfortable guiding teams through system-level problem solving and design transfer to manufacturing.
• A collaborative leader who thrives in a consulting environment.
• PMP certification is an asset, but not required.

Salary

Base Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 annually

Base salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.

Annual variable compensation: Target of 5 -10% of base salary, tied to goal achievement

Additional Compensation: Employees are eligible for a profit-sharing program
