Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of technology initiatives, including new software implementations, upgrades, major enhancements, and upstream processes such as vendor selection (RFIs, RFPs). This role will manage projects across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience leading ERP initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud private edition, combined with skills in business analysis, workflow and process design, technical writing, and test planning/management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of software and IT infrastructure implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve resource conflicts, scheduling overlaps, and dependency issues across multiple projects within the IT portfolio.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Legal teams on vendor selection processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design workflows, and optimize processes.
• Oversee test planning, test case development, and test execution management to ensure quality deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain (and/or oversee the creation of) technical documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and change management protocols, aligning with enterprise SOX controls.
• Communicate timely project status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and tools.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 10+ years of proven project management experience.
• 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud private edition implementations or upgrades.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and core services.
• Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Planner, Project, Jira, or similar PM tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Qualities:

• Business Analysis and requirements gathering.
• Workflow and process design for enterprise systems.
• Technical writing for documentation and training materials.
• Test planning and management, including UAT coordination.
• Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes.
• SAP certification or hands-on experience in SAP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with practical applications of AI to accelerate workflows and improve decision-making.

Preferred Certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile-related certifications.
• ITIL Foundation for IT service management.
