We are seeking a "Platform First" practitioner to serve as the critical technical bridge between our business stakeholders and development team. This isn't a generalist BA position; it is a highly technical, Salesforce-focused role designed for someone who understands architecture well enough to design scalable, sustainable solutions.
You will be the guardian of platform integrity, ensuring we leverage Salesforce’s native power to transform decentralized, legacy processes into a unified, modern ecosystem.
Technical Discovery Lead: Spearhead the discovery phase for the Admissions Replacement project and the digital transformation of 130+ manual administrative workflows.
Data & Systems Architecture: Perform critical data gap analyses, specifically identifying and mapping essential data (e.g., Supervisor roles) currently residing in local silos for integration into Workday and Salesforce.
Strategic Procurement: Drive the technical portions of RFPs for Implementation Partners, defining functional scope to ensure vendor accountability and technical alignment.
Validation & Traceability: Manage end-to-end technical traceability and lead technical validation during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet rigorous system specifications.
Platform Gatekeeping: Conduct "Fit-Gap" analyses against Salesforce capabilities, rigorously challenging requirements that demand custom code by demonstrating OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) alternatives.
Required Certifications: Must hold active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Administrator, or Cloud-specific Consultant—Education Cloud preferred).
Architecture Mindset: Ability to design within the "Standard over Custom" framework to ensure long-term platform health.
10+ Years of BA Experience: A deep toolkit in requirements elicitation, data mapping, and process modeling.
Lead BA Pedigree: Proven track record as a Lead BA on at least one recent, large-scale Salesforce implementation.
Foundational Analysis: Proven ability to enter ambiguous, decentralized environments and produce data-backed artifacts (Persona Inventories, Journey Maps) that prevent the replication of legacy flaws.
Expert Facilitator: Demonstrated success in planning and leading "Product Discovery" sprints for large groups of decentralized stakeholders, driving them toward a unified vision.
Technical Translation: Ability to bridge multiple workstreams by translating complex business logic into precise functional, system, and program specifications.
