Job Title: Software Engineer- Python

Contract Length: 24+ Month contract
Hybrid work (3 days on site/ 2 days remote
Location: CHARLOTTE, NC 28262

This position requires a strong understanding of network load balancing solutions along with hands-on API development experience. Candidates must be proficient in Python development and Ansible, specifically using the FastAPI and Django frameworks. Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift is considered a plus. This role is not a DevOps position.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted Software Engineering challenges that require evaluation of multiple factors, including intangible or unprecedented considerations.
• Contribute to resolving complex situations by applying knowledge of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to support delivery of engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience developing with Python.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience building APIs and backend REST APIs.
• Experience with automation using Python.
• Experience using Django and FastAPI frameworks.
• Experience using GitHub.
• Understanding of network load balancing solutions.

Preferred

• Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
