SUMMARY
The Business Analyst role will play an integral part of the banking team by providing senior bankers with support and analysis which will aid in relationship management and promote the bank’s growth initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting business units’ performance and production while advancing overall business strategies. The Business Analyst role will be cross-functional and partner with portfolio, risk management, credit, products and operations teams.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with senior bankers and underwriting teams to evaluate new opportunities with prospects and existing clients.
  • Participate in initial banking team discussions to assist with due diligence and evaluation materials.
  • Provide system support and reporting for relationship teams, capturing calling activities, pipeline management and tracking sales performance.
  • Develop, monitor, analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for business units to support data driven decision making.
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on associate needs and a strong understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of our client’s business and industry trends to enhance the banking team’s client management and prospecting initiatives.
  • Coordinate and participate in proposals, feasibility studies, new business development activities, and implementation projects.
  • Research, identify, and develop sector insights and provide ongoing benchmarking and market intelligence.
  • Lead and manage the development of presentation slides, playbooks and pitchbooks to support market initiatives, client presentations, and internal training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  • Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)
