Business Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep Guidewire expertise to lead requirements elicitation and production support for core insurance delivery initiatives. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality enhancements.

Core Responsibilities

• Requirements Leadership: Lead end-to-end gathering of functional, non-functional, and security requirements.
• Agile Delivery: Create and manage epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Production Support: Resolve production issues and drive continuous system improvements.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate communication between business units, developers, and QA to ensure seamless delivery.
• Validation: Oversee testing processes to ensure all business needs are met.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on requirements gathering and production support.
• Guidewire Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience with Guidewire (applications without this will not be reviewed).
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in user story documentation, elicitation techniques, and the full SDLC (Agile/Waterfall).
• Project Governance: Strong understanding of project management fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Cloud: Experience with BillingCenter on Guidewire Cloud or InsurCloud.
• Industry Knowledge: Background in Canadian Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, or Guidewire ACE certifications.
