A veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Internist to join its collaborative specialty team. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex medical cases while working in a well-equipped, supportive environment alongside experienced clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex internal medicine cases
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and specialists to ensure high-quality patient care
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Contribute to case discussions and ongoing clinical development
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Experience or strong interest in internal medicine
- Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
